I get worse road rage while behind a cart in costco than i do behind the wheel on a road. Am I doing life wrong?

No, just stepping into Costco take me from Rage 1 to Rage 7 or 8. That’s why I can’t shop there.

Our grocery store just canceled its longstanding “5% off Senior Wednesdays” and I was thrilled. Guess I can shop on Wednesdays again!

Seriously, I get the whole “fixed income” thing but if you just shop the sales, it’s way better than 5%.

I’ve actually said “You probably drive a car like you drive this cart” to morons in the grocery store. Costco is especially bad, it creates sensory overload for the inept.

Don’t forgot the family that uses 2-3 carts and blocks every isle as they loudly discuss whether or not they still have a can of garbanzo beans in the cabinet somewhere.

And of course there’s more:

- People who hold produce like a crystal ball, as they will pick up 50 pieces just to find the one that has no visible imperfections.

- people who won’t take two seconds to move their cart 2 feet over so everyone else can pass through.

- the cashier who can’t scan and talk effectively at the same time, and won’t stop taking AT you about their personal life.

- People who grab all their bags and ditch the cart right at the goddamn exit doors in the middle of the path

- on that note, anyone who doesn’t return a cart should be beaten

- people who buy bulk items but don’t write the item number on the little tag. You’re lazy and thoughtless. That cashier has to dig up every item number and all of us behind you have to wait even longer.

- people who block the parking lanes because they’re waiting for someone who has only begun to load their car with $300 worth of groceries. Blocking all traffic in lieu of taking the open spot 15 feet away is shitty.

To be totally honest, the first couple clips in that I WOULD do in public*. Not in that situation because WHY, but yeah in a crowded mall with people taking ministeps and gawking every 10 seconds I most definitely will.

Yes, I’m a mall weaver. If I’ve got to be there and people are being mall Corolla’s you’re damn right I’m going to make a game of it and be a mall BMW.

*It has to be said though, he’s doing it wrong. The people he cuts in front of should not have to break stride. He should be taking an angle and speeding up to match their forward pace while crossing.
